How to Get Started with AI Coach
Accessing the AI Coach is simple:
Log into the vidIQ website at app.vidiq.com.
On the dashboard, find and click on the "AI Coach" tab. You will then be directed to the AI Coach page on your dashboard.
The AI Coach is available for all vidIQ plans and users. However, please note the feature is currently in its Alpha phase and might not always behave as expected. It's also subject to certain limitations, which are outlined below:
A 72-hour delay exists in fetching YouTube data in Advanced Mode.
Usage is capped at 30 messages per hour.
The feature does not include metrics for Shorts and Live Streams.
The AI Coach Modes
The AI Coach operates in two modes: Basic and Advanced.
Basic Mode: The Basic Mode is unlimited for all users on Free, Pro, or Boost plans. This mode provides information related to YouTube but does not incorporate any of your channel data.
Advanced Mode: For users on Pro or Free plans, the Advanced Mode comes with three monthly credits. However, to enjoy unlimited usage, you need to upgrade to the Boost plan or higher. The Advanced Mode utilizes your channel data to provide personalized advice, including channel audits and growth strategies.
The AI Coach also offers a list of prompts to guide your queries. This can be found on the right side of your dashboard screen.
Saving Your Interactions
Currently, AI Coach doesn't save a history of your messages. However, you can manually save the advice given by either sharing it or copying the message to save it to an external document. Simply click on the Share or Copy icon located at the bottom right corner of the chat.
Trouble Mid-Flight?
If AI Coach isn't responding, the following could be possible reasons:
Message Limit: You may have reached the 30 messages per-hour limit. Please wait a while before trying again.
Parental Controls or Other Interferences: You may have active parental controls on your device, a VPN, or third-party extensions that could interfere with AI Coach on your browser. Check your settings and disable these controls if possible.
Unsupported Questions: AI Coach may not support the query you've asked.
