What Is A Browser Cookie?

Why do We ask To Clear Cookies?
If you're encountering issues with vidIQ, such as difficulty logging in, inaccurate analytics data, or slow performance, try clearing your cookies using the steps outlined above. This may help to improve the performance of the extension and restore proper functionality.
Google Chrome:
To clear your cookies on Chrome browser, please:
Copy and Paste this URL into your Chrome browser’s address bar: chrome://settings/content/all or proceed with the following steps👇🏼
At the top right, click the 3 dots , and scroll down to click on Settings.
Click Privacy and security, then click on Cookies and other site data.
Scroll halfway down to click on See all site data and permissions.
In the search section, look for *ALL THREE* of the following, one at a time:
then click on the trash icon to delete each of them.
To confirm, click Clear.
Close and then re-open your Chrome browser to complete the process.
Check to see if the problem still exists.
Mozilla Firefox:
To clear your cookies on Firefox browser, please:
Copy and Paste this URL into your Firefox browser’s address bar: about:preferences#privacy or proceed with the following steps👇🏼
Click the menu button located at the top right and scroll down to select Settings.
Select Privacy & Security in the panel on the left-hand side and go to the Cookies and Site Data section.
Scroll down to click the Manage Data… button. The Manage Cookies and Site Data dialog will appear.
In the search section, look for *ALL THREE* of the following, one at a time:
app.vidiq.com
vidiq.com
youtube.com and click Remove Selected to delete each of them.
Click "Save Changes."
Close and then re-open your Firefox browser to complete the process.
Check to see if the problem still exists.
Microsoft Edge:
To clear your cookies on Microsoft Edge browser, please:
Copy and Paste this URL into your Edge browser’s address bar: edge://settings/siteData or proceed with the following steps👇🏼
Click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of your browser window. Scroll down to click on Settings.
Click on Cookies and site permissions in the panel on the left-hand side, under Cookies and data stored select Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Click on See all cookies and site data
In the search section, look for *ALL THREE* of the following, one at a time:

vidiq.com
youtube.com
Select the down arrow to the right of the site whose cookies you want to delete and select Delete.
Close and then re-open your Edge browser to complete the process.
Check to see if the problem still exists.
