CHROME
Follow these steps to update your vidIQ extension on Chrome:
Copy and paste the following URL into your browser's location bar: chrome://extensions
Toggle the Developer Mode switch to "on", then click on the 'Update' button as is shown in the screenshot below:
By doing that, you will be able to use the latest version of the vidIQ Chrome Extension.
EDGE
Follow these steps to update your vidIQ extension on Edge:
Copy and paste the following URL into your browser's location bar: edge://extensions
Toggle the Developer Mode switch to "on", then click on the 'Update' button as is shown in the screenshot below:
By doing that, you will be able to use the latest version of the vidIQ Edge Extension.
FIREFOX
On Firefox extensions update automatically. So all you need to ensure is that the vidIQ extension is set up to update automatically, which should be set up like that by default. You can check that by following these steps:
Press the 'puzzle' icon on your Firefox toolbar.
Then press 'Extensions' on the left side.
Pick vidIQ and press on the little 'settings' icon.
In the dropdown ensure that the option 'Update Add-ons Automatically' is ticked ☑️
This will ensure that your vidIQ extension will always be up to date automatically!
If you want to double-check if there is any newer version of the vidIQ extension, follow the same steps and once you press on the 'settings' icon, pick 'Check for Updates'. The system will indicate if there might be any updates or none:
