What Is 1:1 Coaching?
Coaching is a premium support plan designed to give creators like you tailored, ongoing guidance. Instead of generic tips or one-time advice, you’ll get personalized feedback, a custom roadmap, and regular support—so you can grow faster and with more clarity.
With the Chat Coaching Plan, you'll connect through asynchronous video and text messages, no scheduling required. You can send updates when it works for you, and your coach will typically respond within 24–48 hours (Monday to Friday, U.S. and Canadian time zones). 💡 Please note: The AI Coach and your human 1:1 coach are two different things. The AI Coach is an AI-powered tool. Your 1:1 coach is a real human dedicated to your channel's growth.

How Do I Get Matched With a Coach?
When you sign up, you’ll answer a few quick questions about:
Your top goals (e.g. views, monetization, authority)
What success looks like for you on YouTube
What’s been getting in your way (e.g. time, motivation, unclear strategy)
The kind of coach you’d work best with (e.g. supportive, direct, results-focused)
Based on your answers, we’ll recommend a coach who aligns with your needs. You’ll see a few matches and can:

Or browse our full coach directory to choose someone yourself (you can always switch later if needed)

How Does Coaching Work?
vidIQ offers two coaching tiers, each designed for a different kind of creator experience.
Chat Coaching Plan
Coaching happens through asynchronous messaging — meaning you can connect with your coach on your own schedule, without booking a call. Each round, you can send up to 5 messages. These can be:
Videos (up to 5 minutes)
Text (up to 750 characters per message)
Screenshots, images, or YouTube links
Your coach will review everything and reply with personalized feedback within 24–48 hours, Monday through Friday (U.S. and Canadian time zones).
VIP Coaching
Coaching VIP is designed for creators who want a more hands-on experience. In addition to messaging, VIP includes:
Recurring 30-minute live video calls with your coach (intro call, 30-day check-in, then every 30–60 days)
Unlimited messaging: no 5-message rounds
Where to Find Messages From Your Coach
You can view your coaching conversation at any time from within your vidIQ dashboard.
From there, you can review past messages, send a new round, or request a new coach if needed.
