We understand that having your credit card declined can be a frustrating experience, especially when you're excited to start using vidIQ for your Youtube Channel.

Here are some common reasons why a credit card may be declined with solutions to help you resolve the issue.

  1. Insufficient Funds — one of the most common reasons for a declined credit card is insufficient funds. Please double-check your account balance and ensure that you have enough funds to cover the transaction.

  2. Expired Credit Card — banks issue credit cards with a specific expiration date, and a card becomes invalid once it has expired. Verify the expiration date on your credit card. If it has expired, contact your bank to request a replacement card with a new expiration date.

  3. Incorrect Card Details — entering incorrect card details, such as the card number, expiration date, or CVV code, can lead to a declined transaction. Please double-check the information you've entered and make sure it matches the details on your card. If you still experience issues, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using a different browser.

  4. Fraud Protection — banks have security measures in place to prevent unauthorized transactions. If they detect suspicious activity or an unusual purchase, they may decline the transaction to protect your account. Contact your bank to confirm that you're attempting to make a purchase with vidIQ. They may need to verify your identity and authorize the transaction.

  5. International Transaction Restrictions — some credit cards have restrictions on international transactions, and since vidIQ is a global service, your card may be declined if such restrictions are in place. Please contact your bank to inquire about international transaction restrictions on your card. They may be able to lift the restriction or suggest an alternative payment method.

  6. Incomplete 3DS Verification — 3D Secure (3DS) is an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. It helps protect both the cardholder and the merchant by ensuring the user is authenticated before completing the transaction.

    1. If your transaction requires 3DS verification and you fail to complete it successfully, your credit card may be declined. Make sure you follow the steps provided by your bank during the 3DS verification process. This may involve entering a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered phone number or email, or confirming the transaction through your bank's mobile app.

    2. If you're having trouble with the 3DS verification, contact your bank for assistance.

If you continue to experience issues with your credit card after trying the solutions above, we recommend reaching out to your bank for further assistance.
